Fare Well Co.
Sweatshops are bad. You know it. Michael Moore knows it. Fashion labels know it too, which is why many have stopped using them altogether. Sydney-based T-shirt makers Fare Well Co. go one step further, funnelling their proceeds into projects directly targeting poverty and the environment. Using organic cotton and a properly paid workforce, Fare Well’s classic tees are tender to the touch, soft on the eyes and not bad for the conscience. Unsurprisingly, all this ‘having a heart’ makes their wares cost a little more than the mass-produced stuff, but you’re always welcome to punch a street urchin in the face if you’d rather save a dime. If late-capitalism has given us one thing, surely it’s that.
